My stay at Best Western was a mixed experience in terms of value. The location was convenient, close to shopping areas and the train station, which was ideal for our Milan trip. The room, though slightly dated and small, offered a comfortable and clean respite. The free Wi-Fi and accommodating staff were a plus.However, the subtle but noticeable odor in the rooms was a downside, reminiscent of an old church. Despite the attempts to rectify the issue with a room change, the problem persisted. The discounted rate offered upon expressing our discomfort was appreciated, but the overall guest experience was affected.While the hotel provided essential amenities like Wi-Fi and comfortable beds, the issue with the room smell brought into question the value for the nearly 900 EUR paid for 4 nights. For future guests, it's worth considering if this trade-off between cost and luxury aligns with your priorities.
